We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. You will play a vital role in maintaining our practice’s commitment to providing modern and top-tier dental care to our diverse patient base.

Well-established dental practice that provides high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. One hour hygiene appointments to deliver the best care possible. Our practice is located conveniently on a train line amidst a vibrant community with various food establishments like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, removing plaque, calculus, and stains to ensure optimal oral health.
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to identify potential issues and report to dentist.
• Administer local anesthetic and place dental sealants as needed.
• Educate patients about proper oral hygiene techniques, oral health care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Take digital x-rays using Schick digital imaging equipment and capture intraoral images with our intraoral cameras.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software to maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and scheduling information.
• Collaborate closely with the dentist to provide cohesive and personalized treatment plans.
• Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients by demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and empathy.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and integrate best practices into patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace and adhere to strict sterilization protocols.
• All duties a RDH would be required to perform.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts
• Approved to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Ability to learn and use Eaglesoft software, digital x-rays, and intraoral cameras (previous experience with Schick equipment is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Steady hand and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to adapt and learn as dental technology evolves.
• Prior experience in a dental setting is preferred but not mandatory,
• NEW grads welcome.
